Our Roots
CMD Alternative Energy Solutions was founded in Appleton, Wisconsin as a division of CMD Corporation, an established industrial equipment supplier founded in 1980. Operating from CMD’s 127,000-square-foot campus, the team applies a deeply technical mindset to solving complex challenges in the alternative energy space. From the beginning, CMD recognized that fleets, municipalities, construction companies, fuel suppliers, and station operators needed more than equipment. They needed a partner that was easy to work with, willing to customize solutions, and committed to keeping stations operational.

All equipment is designed and manufactured in-house at the Appleton facility, allowing for strict quality control and faster response.
